The Royal Academy Schools is an art institution based in Burlington House on Piccadilly in London. Founded in 1768, it has a unique position as an independent, privately funded institution led by eminent artists and architects.
“The SST funding has allowed me to spend the majority of my time in the studio, without worrying to find extra work to support myself. This has been incredibly important in giving me time and space to experiment, which has helped the work develop tremendously. Access to materials and the workshops has also helped greatly and again has been made possible through the funding.”
