Music students generally have such a demanding timetable that the scope for taking on part-time work to help fund study costs can be limited. We have been longstanding supporters of students at some of the leading music conservatoires in the UK
WHO WE SUPPORT
GUILDHALL SCHOOL OF MUSIC & DRAMA
We provide one Scholarship each year to a student taking either a BMus or MMus degree, and have supported a wide range of specialisms, including composition, clarinet and trumpet
ROYAL COLLEGE OF MUSIC
We have supported the Royal College of Music since 1998 and the Scholarship is open to one or two postgraduate students each year; recipients have included students in voice, Baroque violin, composition for screen and recorder
ROYAL NORTHERN COLLEGE OF MUSIC
We have supported mainly postgraduate students every year since 2004 at this Manchester conservatoire, in disciplines including singing, harpsichord, violin, cello and piano
ROYAL WELSH COLLEGE OF MUSIC AND DRAMA
A new Scholarship was established in September 2021 to help up to two postgraduate level Music students
TRINITY LABAN CONSERVATOIRE OF MUSIC AND DANCE
A direct Scholarship was set up in 2014, which has mainly supported one MMus level student each year in a range of disciplines – from timpani and percussion, through cello to jazz trumpet
